Scrapbook Page and Frog Card

Sorry it's been awhile.  I'm definitely looking forward to my summer break from school, which will start in a couple of weeks.

I did my first scrapbook page for my wedding album last weekend.  I wanted to start the scrapbook with an invitation page.  I created it using the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge, the Wedding Solutions Cricut cartridge, printed paper from DMD and other supplies are from my scrap pile.  I made the invitations for the wedding and response cards myself.  The response cards were made using a Fiskars Shape Boss and the leaves stencil set.

I made a card for my husband because he's been so supportive of me during these past few stressful weeks.  I created using my favorite Cricut cartridge, Create a Critter, and cut the frog at 5".  I used the texture green paper from Cricut Earthtones cardstock and the rest from my scrap pile.  The stamp is from Hero Arts.

I attached the completed frog to the frog shadow using a brad on the left eye, you can't see it because it's hidden under the top layers.

One improvement I have is to move the prince charming (which was cut at 2") up a bit or cut it slightly smaller since it shows underneath the frog.  I believe I cut the lily pad slightly smaller to fit my paper (probably around 4").  I added the flower last second as a final touch.  I'd probably use a different brad, except I don't have many that would work yet.  Need to build up my supplies some more.  If you have Design Studio, I think you'd be able to make it without using a brad, but I'm not that familiar with Design Studio since I only have the trial.
